Unbreak My Heart was originally released in 2013 by Amber Quill Press. When Amber went out of business, I was lucky enough to have Dreamspinner Press take it under their wing. It was re-edited with some added content then republished in 2016.

Brett & JT’s story didn’t end with Unbreak My Heart. I published two novellas and two short stories starring Brett, JT, Millie, and Ray with my original publisher, and I’m happy to announce that the second book, Unbroken Hearts, in the Unbreak series has been accepted by Dreamspinner for release early fall 2017. This novel will include two of the original stories, plus 20,000 words of original material.

Now, here’s 10 strange or just plain facts about Unbreak My Heart. So here we go…

  1. Unbreak didn’t have a title until the first draft was written, beta’ed, and ready for submission. Unfortunately, I’m not one

Welcome to Loveland is my first self-published series. It started in January, 2017, when I had the urge to write a cute Valentine’s Day story set in the real city of Loveland, Colorado. Lucky Roberts and Jack Canon were the wonderful results and Lucky in Loveland was published on February 12, 2017.

Since then I’ve written three more books in the Loveland verse. The first is Jack’s story, Lost in Loveland, and it continues the sweet romance between Lucky and Jack. The second is Mistletoe Reunion in Loveland – a side story about an older couple in Loveland – and the third, Finding Forever in Loveland, starring a couple of new faces to Loveland.

I plan on continuing the series, as well as putting the focus back on Lucky & Jack for at least one more book. But for now the other four are ready, willing and able.… [Read More ...]

The felines have their own BDSM club. The wolves need a place to play. Can shifters of different species play together?

Wylde KingDom, a Paranormal BDSM Romance series, intrigued me from the beginning. First off, the series concept didn’t start out as an idea –it started out because I was playing with cover concepts for nothing specific and found myself with 6 gorgeous covers with a man on the top half and an animal on the bottom. The more I looked at those covers, the more I loved them. And as I considered the shifters, I remembered the old TV show Wild Kingdom and it just kind of took off in my brain.

Hiding in plain sight, shifters have been around for as long as humans have, but they’ve learned to blend in and not be noticed. They need a way to get out their wild side. Blaise … [Read More ...]

From the mind of Author S.L. Dearing, five short stories in five different genres.

True Fodder is a Paranormal Horror. When Jackson Montgomery and Miranda Stuart are partnered up during the company Team Building weekend, neither of them could be less thrilled. Out in the middle of a forest, things aren’t always what they appear and when these “frenemies” are pulled into a nightmare, can they put aside their differences and escape?

Drawing Heat is a paranormal erotica. Tristan the artist, and Natalia the art agent. While the sexual tension that flows from Tristan is undeniable, there is also a sense of foreboding. Something that is dark and dangerous that makes Natalia want to run.Yet, when Tristan decides to change the nature of their relationship, will Natalia succumb to the fire he elicits from her? And if so, will she survive the night?

Shelf Life is a … [Read More ...]

Welcome to I Heart Book Publishing.

We are not a vanity press, but a new model for publishing. Neither are we a “pay-as-you-go” company. After going the traditional route for years, we decided to open our doors to those authors wanting to self-publish but didn’t want to deal with the “business” side—like formatting, uploading, recordkeeping, etc. Our straight-forward offer takes care of the tedious task of doing all those tasks and in return, you receive higher royalties and maintain more control over your manuscripts. We like to consider this new model publishing house as a “bridge” between both worlds, helping you navigate through the process. Our books can be found on all on-line retailers such as Amazon, Smashwords, IBooks, KOBO, and Barnes & Noble. Print, no matter the size, are available through Createspace.

The idea for Eternity came to me when I was at a writer’s conference with my mom in Nashville Tennessee, Killer Nashville specifically. Eternity is sort of a dark story and I was inspired by all the thrillers and crime books I was learning about there. I’ve always loved tragedy’s and stories that make you feel something. Jessie is kind of a jerk in the beginning, but as we follow him through the story you get to watch him grow as a character to become not so selfish as he learns how to love another person and overcome his addictions and selfish habits.

Jessie being an addict was not my original idea for the book. My initial plot was actually much different, but as I started writing the characters sort of took over for themselves, but I think that’s always the best when a story grows in its own … [Read More ...]

Landing the job as Elan Isle’s accountant was a good thing, or so he thought. Who knew that people actually lived the BDSM lifestyle?

Making His Stand is the 2nd novel in the Elan Isle Contemporary BDSM Romance series and is M/M. Whereas the first novel Ye Olde Kinke Faire took place in the scurry up to getting the renaissance fair up and running, this novel takes place the following spring. While writing this book I had two main characters – James Kaden-Scott, accountant, and Alec Rowland, Dom and BDSM-toy maker – a third character stepped up and became a major part of the book. Zippo the Chihuahua. He’s cute, he’s adorable, and he only has three legs – not that he lets that stop him. He was originally just supposed to be just a sideline, but Zippo had a strong personality that jumped off the page. He … [Read More ...]
